Gortin Glen Horse Trails

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is continuing the redevelopment of Gortin Glen Forest Park to transform it into a family friendly outdoor experience with over 8km of horse trails available on the western side of the forest, off the Lisnaharney Road. Users, will be blown away when they reach the higher sections offering spectacular views west to County Donegal and Fermanagh where you will be able  to clearly see Mount Errigle.

Vehicular access to horsebox parking is via key access. To obtain a key, users must first apply here.

Information including appropriate insurances must be included in the submission and if successful, a refundable deposit of £100 must be paid at the Connect Centre, Strule House, 16 High Street, during normal office hours, 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday.

Applications are now open, and a Council representative will respond to applicants within two weeks of submission to confirm the next steps.
